Addressing Unique Corporate Campus Needs for State Farm

Brandt played a crucial role in the development of the State Farm Regional Campus in Richardson, Texas. As part of Austin Commercial’s contracting team, Brandt provided comprehensive design-assist services for the project’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The expansive campus, comprising three office towers and parking garages totaling 3.5 million square feet, accommodates approximately 8,000 employees and sets a new standard for corporate facilities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Brandt’s scope of work included the design and installation of a central utility plant (CUP), housing 5,200 tons of chillers and a primary-secondary chilled water system. Additionally, Brandt supplied and installed critical infrastructure components, including medium voltage service, generators, air handling units, plumbing fixtures, distribution systems, and substations.

Throughout the construction process, the project team prioritized creating a productive and impressive workspace for State Farm employees. The campus represents a significant investment, with an estimated cost exceeding half a billion dollars. Completed in 2015, the State Farm Regional Campus stands as one of the largest corporate facilities in North Texas, underscoring Brandt’s expertise in delivering high-quality MEP solutions for complex corporate developments.
